County Contract Action Team Meetings

The County Contract Action Team (CAT) has formed! Even though the Bargaining Team will not be elected until the fall, building the CAT now builds the strength we need in the worksite during contract negotiations.

The CAT is a critical component of county bargaining. CAT members are the bargaining leaders in the worksites – distributing important bargaining information, organizing unity actions, and having conversations with coworkers.

In fact, the first CAT action has members talking with their coworkers one-on-one to find out what the priorities should be for our next contract. An active and engaged membership results in a strong contract!

It’s not too late to get involved! We need everyone to participate – we need you! Come to the next CAT meeting at Local 221 on Tuesday, August 10, 2010 at 6:00 pm.
