• SEIU International is our parent organization and provides organizing, research, legal assistance, and coordinates the Locals involved in major international campaigns, such as the Nurse Alliance and Justice for Janitors. The International Union represents all of SEIU on the National and World stages. Our International is the driving force to protect our jobs and services from budget cuts and outsourcing.
• SEIU California State Council consists of all SEIU Local unions throughout California. The State Council coordinates lobbying activities for all California Locals in the state legislature. At the State Council, SEIU Locals come together to bring the power of 650,000 SEIU members to ensure our jobs and services are protected.
• California Labor Federation is a statewide affiliation of all California unions and lends support in collective bargaining, fights to protect funding for our jobs and services, and works to advance policies that benefits working families.
• The San Diego-Imperial Counties Labor Council is the local chapter of the California Labor Federation and it allows affiliated unions in San Diego and Imperial Counties to come together as a unified group. Essentially, it is a union of unions or simular to a chamber commerce of businesses banding together to protect our common goals.
