Economic Assistance for Union Members


If you are a member that needs assistance, SEIU Local 221, along with the San Diego-Imperial Counties Labor Council, has partnered with the United Way of San Diego County to provide emergency assistance to union members in need.


The program provides assistance to union members with rent & mortgage payments, security deposits for housing, utility bills, transportation, water bills, food and unemployment claims.

You can apply to get assistance by filling out the forms below and bringing them to Local 221. You MUST have the forms signed by a union representative to qualify for assistance.
